![]() I'll just leave it here for those interested in the process and result. Don't care if it's a 13 years old game, also that no one cares for what I'm about to post. Like I said, google doesn't return any results on someone having enabled the console in this game. ![]() Setting a goal, devising logic or means to achieve it and doing it. The purpose of this topic isn't: scanning memory with CE, debugging values you found via scanning, telling me I could've done this easier this way or used a trainer to fast-up the process. While at it, I've also found a list of commands and variables you can tweak to make your life easier. Took me several hours (started at midnight, finished at 5.00 in the morning), but I've got the hang of it. Found out where the console functionality is, how the functions are called and devised some logic which I'd replicate in The Witcher. One of them is Neverwinter Nights, which also received an upgrade, the Enhanced Edition being available for download. The game runs on Aurora Engine, also used in other BioWare titles. In order to get any leads on the console (I knew there would be one), I did a little research. Well, as you'll see, I've had other plans. It's like trainers are enough for people to just play the game and nothing else. The only thing I could find is stuff related to Witcher 3. What I meant with that last bit: if you google up this game title online you'll find trainers, videos that teach you how to do this and that, but no reference on a CONSOLE enabler or at least a mod that would lead to that. Secondly, I'm into things that have never been done. Well, first-up, I'm curious what developers always leave behind. This will be one of those posts where you'll pretty much ask yourselves why is this guy still doing it. Hope this helps any future MB person thinking about which awesomely large display to get.Vendor: Steam (compatible with the PROPHET release)ĭecided to give this title a go, courtesy of Netflix and their Season 1 movie, which I found quite entertaining. ![]() ![]() But, I would like to return it for one which is compatible with my MB. These things aside, the monitor is great. When this happens, the charge from the USB-C must get interrupted because the MB wakes up temporarily, which wakes up the monitor, which then powers the USB-C again, which triggers sleep mode on the MB and the whole cycle repeats. After a period of inactivity (as long as your MB is set to be able to sleep) and your MB goes to sleep, the monitor attempts to sleep. BUT, and this is a problem, it only charges when the monitor is on and MB is not sleeping. You can safely assume that there will never be any.Ĥ) The USB-C cable that came with the monitor works well and charges my MB. Night Shift will work on my MB.ģ) There are no Mac drivers or any software support for this monitor and it has been on sale for a few years now. One user posted that this may be due to the MB treating the display as a TV. I have tried this with a USB wired keyboard plugged into my MB with an adapter and plugged into the display.Ģ) I have not been able get Night Shift to work on the Dell. However, now that I own this Dell monitor, I may be able to help future MacBook Pro users with some answers.ġ) Volume control: I can confirm that you CANNOT control the external display's volume from an external keyboard or your laptop. Hi, This reply is (obviously) very late to the party. What are the future developments of Dell in this area? Will there soon come a new widescreen (maybe with 4k? This really needs to work for me.ģ. Has this issue 1 been resolved maybe and if not: Does Dell generally work on improving the compability with Mac OS? I was always happy with Dell but if Dell would simply ignore MacOS that would be a bummer to be honest.Ĥ. Does this also apply to the application called Flux (also available for Windows)? Nightshift Mode or Flux I find very important. More importantly, one user reported that Nightshift Mode would not work. My plan would be to buy a mac keyboard that I either connect to the monitor or to my MacBook (depending on what works best but if possible connecting it to the screen would be nicer so that I only need to connect the MacBook to the monitor every time.Ģ. The brightness and volume control do not work on the keyboard on from the MacBook (is the issue that was reported here in the forum). I have a few questions that I hope you can help me out with:ġ. However in another post here in this forum I read that the are compatibility issues. I am searching for an Ultra Wide Monitor from Dell that is compatible with the MacBook Pro 2016 that has USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 as output.
